The chatbot, a product of Microsoft's Azure AI, was promoted as a reliable resource pulling from over 2,000 NYC Business web pages. Yet recent examinations reveal a pattern of inaccurate responses concerning critical regulations, from housing policies to worker rights. Rosalind Black, the Citywide Housing Director at Legal Services NYC, has raised alarms after discovering that the bot advised landlords incorrectly about tenant lockouts and rent regulations, both sensitive issues in New York's housing landscape.
